Authorities in Malamulele Launch Manhunt Following Kidnapping and Assault of 15-Year-Old Girl

Law enforcement in Malamulele is on the hunt for an unidentified male suspect in connection with the abduction and assault of a 15-year-old girl on Tuesday.

According to Police spokesperson Brig Hlulani Mashaba, the incident occurred around 5 pm when the young girl was alone in the Malamulele CBD. An unknown man, armed and threatening, reportedly coerced her into his vehicle and drove away.

The suspect then transported the victim to an undisclosed location, where he subjected her to sexual assault within the confines of his vehicle. Disturbingly, the following day, the suspect dropped her off at a taxi rank and departed. The girl, after the traumatic experience, boarded a taxi and returned home.

Brig Hlulani Mashaba emphasized that police investigations are currently in progress, urging the public's cooperation in bringing the suspect to justice.
